Thivi is an HR Practitioner with 30 years of experience. He has held HR leadership roles with reputable multinational companies such as Coca-Cola, UTAC Group, Eli Lilly Pharma, Goodyear Tire Company and Honeywell.
Thivi’s contribution has been well recognized and won several awards, for example, HR Leader Award 2006 (Malaysia), Best HR Leader Award 2011 (finalist, Singapore) and Asia’s Best HR Team Award for Change Management (HRM Asia) in 2017.
Most recently, Thivi was the Global CHRO of UTAC Group of Companies, based in Singapore, as well as a Council Member of the Institute of Adult Learning (SUSS, Singapore).
He has taken an early retirement to experience a slower phase of life while spending some time managing investments made in several start-up companies.

Industries include technology start-ups, banking & financial institutions, professional services, IT, and Government.

The wide span of exposure has enabled him to serve effectively from both the business and talent side of the organization across different industries such as e-Commerce, F&B, Media, Technology, FMCG and Logistics.
He has spoken at many conferences and has coached & mentored sales & customer service professionals across Asia, the Middle East, Africa & Latin America. As a result of his demonstration of leadership, the teams he led are highly motivated and have consistently achieved their goals.
Apart from his career achievements, Kelvin has a heart for people, and he wants to make a difference through teaching and mentoring. To ensure that he supports people from a more holistic perspective.
Kelvin has built his capabilities in the areas of family, youth and life coaching as well. He has also established mentoring movements such as Voices Of Asia and Mentoring Alliance. As a result, Kelvin was awarded the Innovator of the Year – No-Profits by the Singapore Business Review Management Excellence Award.
