Nothing

I Am A Coach, But I Knew Nothing About Leadership… Yet

If you are reading this right now, the title has successfully attracted you to read further.

In recent months, after the launch of our π—₯π—œπ—¦π—˜π—¨π—£ Conference in July this year,

Click for the Story behind RISEUP!

I Disappear from the Stage for 3 Full Years!

I started to catch up intentionally with senior leaders from various industries as part of our π—₯π—œπ—¦π—˜π—¨π—£ movement, and guess what I found?

All leadership lessons I learned from them are not from the leadership books or theories we knew.

There are tons of leadership theories, but what is more π—₯π—˜π—”π—Ÿ is to see π—₯π—˜π—”π—Ÿ leaders who work from the ground up, and they will tell you otherwise.

#1 TOO MANY LEADERSHIP THEORIES LEAD TO LEADERSHIP FATS.

Most of us are crazy over leadership theories and trends. I call them the Fats.

Too much leadership Fats lead to the narrowing of the mind.

Too many leadership Theories lead to the narrowing of the mind.

Too much leadership Should and Don’t lead to the narrowing of the mind.

Are we accidentally narrowing our minds?

It is not about leadership theories; it is about real leadership stories.

#2 WOULD YOU ENGAGE A COACH OR A LEADER WHO IS NOT GROWING?

Being a leader is constantly sharpening yourself with other leaders.

Would you follow a leader who is not growing?

Would you engage a coach who is not growing?

Would you invest with a banker who is not up to date with the market?

The answer is NO.

Because anything less is discounting ourselves.

When I caught up for coffee with other leaders, I realised I was learning new ideas and expanding my perspectives because I could never be in their space.

I am growing tremendously in my leadership thinking, empathy and perspectives.

#3 THE 30,000 DAYS.

There is only so much time we have.

On average, we have only 30,000 days in our lifetime.

That is around 82 years old.

We are measured not by the years of experience we have today but by the number of times of experience.

If we are not experimenting with new things, learning new stuff, and making mistakes, we are not growing.

Start increasing the number of times of new experiences we have in the limited 30,000 days we have,

That puts perspective on our life, too, as we read this.
