Yap! It is time to ditch that resolution for 2024. What? 😱
There is no typo error but human error.
The challenge behind a resolution is that people miss out on the part after “so that I can, ” and they get nowhere over time.
+ I want to lose weight so that I can …?
+ I want to balance my work and time so that I can…?
+ I want to be healthy in the new year so that I can…?
1️⃣ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀.
Over my past years of coaching observation, I realised that people find it hard to fill in the blank after “so that I can…”
The irony is that sometimes, I do, too 😅
+ People do something without knowing how it will catapult them further.
+ People do what I call a “short glory”. Yeah! I did it, and it faded away.
+ People do something because that is what everyone is doing. Lol…
But when you can fill in those blanks, that is where your 𝗠𝗘𝗚𝗔 story lives.
2️⃣ 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗧𝗼 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗢 𝗠𝗘𝗚𝗔𝗟𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡.
MEGALUTION is about having a MEGA or BIGGER STORY on why you do something.
+ I want to lose weight to be healthy, 𝘀𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 i can start travelling to places I have never dreamed of, and start turning all those stories into my first book.
+ I want to balance my work and life 𝘀𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 i can be part of my kids’ growing-up years, watch them grow up, and see them getting married.
+ I want to be healthy in the new year 𝘀𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 i can start doing what I love more than spending time with the doctors.
3️⃣ 𝗠𝗘𝗚𝗔𝗟𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗧𝗼 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲.
+ Without MEGALUTION, your goal will demotivate after a while.
+ Without MEGALUTION, a little setback will stop you on your track.
+ Without MEGALUTION, your goalpost will constantly move, and you will never score.
In the brand new year, ask not what your resolution is.
But what is your BIGGER STORY for yourself?
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗜𝗚𝗚𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝘆𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗶𝘀 _______ 𝘀𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 _______
2024 is the year when your MEGALUTION will come alive 🚀
