I had one and I was thinking why is the shoe so big and bulky. And yes, it is the Hoka brand 🙌
Hoka started in 2009 in France as a running shoe for hardcore marathoners, and today, it is growing rapid with casual runners, hikers and has become a fashion icon too.
Even Grandpa wears it today 😎
Hoka is owned by Deckers (DECK), the company behind Ugg and Teva shoes brand.
𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆.
🤔 When Deckers first bought Hoka in 2012, the brand had just over $2 million in sales and NOBODY heard of it.
🚀 Forward to 2021, Hoka hit $892 million in sales and in 2022, it cross the $1 billion mark.
Even the black swan is beautiful in its way. While it may just be a shoe, it can certainly teach us a big lesson in life.
