I had a great time catching up and learning from Sanjay Prabhakaran, an experienced business leader in the healthcare industry.
Formerly the President of Asia-Pacific of Hologic Inc, and currently a board of directors member with APAC Med.
He is also the co-founder of Asia Mentors Circle (AMC), focusing on accelerating the growth of Global Healthcare Leaders in APAC.
I have always believed that positive rebels are shifting the world faster than we think, and Sanjay is undoubtedly one of them.
#𝟭 𝗛𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗠𝗘𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚
When I asked Sanjay, what made him decide to join the healthcare industry, his answer was simple.
To find a career with meaning.
In short, one that can allow him to 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴.
His early education was not in healthcare, but that did not stop him from entering the industry and living a career that comes with a vital mission.
In my perspective, if you are not rising each day looking forward to your work, keep hunting.
Do not settle for anything less because you will invest the whole of your life living it.
#𝟮 𝗥𝗘𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗬
Sanjay saw the ground-breaking and life-saving technology of the heart stent and brought in the technology.
While most were unfamiliar with that technology back then, he saw how that technology could save lives and help the patient avoid the traumatic experience of invasive surgery and speed up recovery.
Without that technology, heart patients today will continue to undergo invasive surgery.
Is it time for you to do a 𝗥𝗘𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗧 and 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗥𝗨𝗣𝗧 with a 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡?
#𝟯 𝗚𝗥𝗢𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
There is a season for everyone.
Sanjay believes in growing the next generation of healthcare leaders in Asia-Pacific.
I love how the AMC is a vital tribe for the healthcare sector so that leaders like Sanjay can continue to inspire and grow the next generation of leaders in the healthcare ecosystem.
Are you growing yourself on the journey or staying still?
This is Joseph, signing off.
May You 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠, 𝗙𝗟𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗛 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗥 in the Brand New World.
